A strong coalition

Sponge is led by World Wide Fund for nature (WWF-NL), The Three Countries Park (3LP) and the landscape park Grenzeloos Bocageland, in cooperation with the municipalities of Plombières, Dalhem, Raeren, Welkenraedt and Valkenburg and the program Waterveiligheid en Ruimte Limburg (WRL).

Together they combine knowledge, governance capacity and regional networks to make the landscape in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine more resilient to drought and flooding.
